Merian Magazine: Dust/Ink 1 and 2

This series takes as source material images from the German travel publication, Merian magazine. The images were altered by means of a slow, careful and selective sanding down with fine abrasive paper, and rephotographed to show a combination of print and dust – the ink was not erased, but simply relocated.
